I have been trying to come up with something different than just a standard puppet. Rather than just making a human form that can be moved by strings or hand that already exists in the puppet world, I want to create something more of a piece of artwork based around this idea of being someones puppet.
I re-looked at the definition of a puppet, the second which states; A person, or state under the control of another person, group or power. This got me thinking that in theory we are all someones or somethings puppet in some way shape or form. We are puppets from the day we are born we are all our parents puppets, they control us until we leave home, we then become someone elses: friends, a partner, a job we are always being controlled somewhere. We are also all puppets to our own minds.
