Is there anything that particularly inspires you? How do you find inspiration?
I'm fascinated by the unusual, often tragic lives of my kind and I make art about it. The fragile, creative mind both disturbs and delights me and, with so many talented and deeply troubled artists throughout history, I have an endless source of exploration. I'm also interested in stories, our relationship with them and how they influence our lives. More often than not, my own life story resides in my work, allowing me greater freedom of self-expression.
